What I Did
Founded Red Ribbon Society at IIITDM Kancheepuram to promote blood donation and address community health needs.
Execution
Organized the first blood donation camp with 161 donors and 9 volunteers. Partnered with Indian Voluntary Blood Bank and Rotary Club of Chennai for medical expertise and logistics. This partnership was critical for getting administrative approval and ensuring proper medical protocols.
Successfully conducted three more camps after the inaugural one. Built volunteer teams and documented SOPs so the initiative could continue after I graduated.

Reflections
Partnerships with established organizations (Blood Bank, Rotary Club) provided credibility, medical expertise, and operational support that I couldn't have built alone. They made the difference between getting administrative approval and being stuck in bureaucracy. Sometimes the smartest thing you can do is find the right people to work with instead of trying to build everything yourself.
